Tiddley Cove Morris Dancers Tiddley Cove Morris Dancers
Based in Vancouver, Tiddley Cove Morris is an all-women's Morris dance troupe with about a dozen active dancers and musicians established in 1986. They perform dances using both stick and hank. Performing to live, unamplified music is an important part of Morris tradition, and members of Tiddley Cove Morris play melodeon, concertina, penny whistle, recorder, bodhran, tambourine, triangle and mandolin.

Morris dancing is one of the oldest traditional dances of England. It is a "display" dance, rather than a social dance (where you dance with a partner). Morris dancing has over 600 years of history and is tied to special events such as harvest, first plowing, May Day and Solstice.
