March For Science Vancouver
The March for Science is a celebration of our passion for science and a call to support and safeguard the scientific community. Recent policy changes have caused heightened worry among scientists, and the incredible and immediate outpouring of support has made clear that these concerns are also shared by hundreds of thousands of people around the world. The mischaracterization of science as a partisan issue, which has given policymakers permission to reject overwhelming evidence, is a critical and urgent matter. It is time for people who support scientific research and evidence-based policies to take a public stand and be counted. On April 22, we walk out of the lab and into the streets!

7th Annual Earth Day Parade & Festival
Since 2011, Vancouverites have flocked to Commercial Drive each April for the Annual Earth Day Parade & Festival. This lively event, organized by Windermere Secondary School's Youth for Climate Justice Now, carries on this fun, family-friendly tradition by bringing people together to celebrate the planet and raise awareness of climate change. This year's parade, taking place on April 22, will begin at Commercial and Broadway at 1 PM. The festival, consisting of speakers, performers, booths and more, will continue at Grandview Park from 2 to 5 PM. Join us for a day of festivities that includes guests such as Grand Chief Stewart Phillip, Ta'kaiya Blaney, Corrina Keeling, Geoff Berner, and more!
